The bar owner has been under more and more pressure from neighbors to keep the noise down and as we regularly have 20 - 30 attend it has been difficult. On top of that, it's getting too hot to sit outside and the seats inside aren't arranged well for big groups. Big thanks to Brush and everyone else at Route 66 for a very enjoyable 9 months! So the new location will be a British bar called Little London. Little London is run by a British guy named Mark and his Taiwanese wife. The place is very spacious, well designed and all indoors with lots of AC. They have a huge selection of British teas and beers as well as beers from other countries and lots of other drinks. They also have a small food menu. The bar is located a 3 minute walk from Sun-yat-sen Memorial Hall MRT station, on the blue line, about a 10 minute walk from Route 66. They have kindly agreed to give a discount to anyone from Couch Surfing for this event so we will have Kirin, Tiger and Singha beer for 100 NT a bottle (original price 120NT) and 20 NT off any British beers. They will probably give a discount on other drinks too although we haven't discussed that yet. So as of next Thursday 4th July from 8pm – 12pm the weekly CS Meet Up will be held at Little London. Please come along and bring your friends, let's carry on the tradition we started in Route 66, making new friends, talking about our Couch Surfing experiences, having a few drinks and lots of fun.
